Veganizing Process for “A Vegan Christmas Carol”: Introduction
The process of veganizing a classic work of literature requires keeping in mind a number of disparate criteria. These range from historical considerations—for instance, what types of food were available at a particular point in time—to vocabulary—what types of words were in the given author’s toolkit—to many other considerations.
The upcoming series of posts will explain some of the choices that were made in veganizing Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” for the first edition of “A Vegan Christmas Carol.”
